The American Rocketry Challenge (ARC) is the world’s largest rocket competition, with over 5,500 students nationwide competing annually. The program provides students in 6th – 12th grades the opportunity to design, build, and launch model rockets and gain hands-on experience solving engineering problems. The Challenge is open to teams who submit a completed registration, including payment of $175, between July 15 and December 6, 2025.
ARC is organized by the Aerospace Industries Association and the National Association of Rocketry with the generous support of several industry, government, and academic sponsors and partners. The annual challenge is the aerospace industry’s flagship program designed to encourage students to pursue academic and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math.
